Beginning in 1968, Dr. Wichern has worked with children, adolescents and families as a LVN, medic and therapist. Dr. Wichern uses both Cognitive/Behavioral and Family Systems Therapies. He believes the interaction of parent and child is reciprocal and constantly changing! A child with unique difficulties will alter the parenting style just by the nature of the interaction. He believes in providing the "quality" care you deserve through accurate assessment and designing the right treatment plan, which will remediate the problem. The goal is to help children and parents understand how their interactions have changed and to implement strategies that foster healthy, "safe" families.
